The
Writers Group Announces Book Signing for new Anthology “Now With
Page Numbers”
Akron,
OH – July 1, 2018 – Kora M. Sadler, founder of TheWriters Group, announced that a book signing for its anthology,
“Now With Page Numbers,” will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018
from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will take place at the Barnes &
Noble located at 4015 Medina Rd. in Akron.
“We
received great response with the first two anthologies and we’re
hoping for the same great level of appreciation with our latest one,”
said Sadler.
The
book encompasses a selection of highly diverse poetry, fiction,
non-fiction and excerpts from published works by members of The
Writers Group. Also available on Amazon
in a paperback edition, this is the third anthology released by The
Writers Group and includes the works of accomplished writers and
those of emerging talents.
Included
are selections by April Sharp, Amanda Leonard, Ben DiCola, Bob Gray,
Brett A. Tipton, Carol Grzeschik, Carol P. Vaccariello, and Christin
A. Hazen, along with David “RedButton” Williams, Don “The
Snarky Gardener” Abbott, and Don Ake. Readers will also enjoy the
works of Donna Patterson, Jacqueline Baxter, Joseph Pryweller, Kora
Sadler and Laurie Peel, in addition to Lewis Jenkins, Mathew
Davenport, Pat Hunsicker, Patty Lovell, Rui Xu and Russell Henley.
Founded
in 2014 by Sadler, the group has more than 1,500 members and is an
eclectic association of poets and screenwriters, actors and
comedians, artists and singers, and students, teachers and scholars.
The ensemble connects on the social media platform Meetup
to share, learn, and encourage all aspects of the writing life.
Members offer critiques for experienced authors and helps guide new
writers as they take their first literary steps.
Locally,
The Writers Group also meets in person every two weeks on Saturdays
from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Those gatherings are held at The Evans Building,
located at 333 S. Main St. Suite B-200 in Akron. It’s a time for
individuals to read excerpts of what they’re working on and an
opportunity to meet like-minded writers.
The
book signing set for Barnes and Noble on July 21, 2018 is an
opportunity for attendees to obtain an autographed copy of the
anthology “Now With PageNumbers” and meet some of the authors of The Writers Group. The
association welcomes new and established writers in all genres for
learning, fellowship and fun.
